Despite being fortunate enough to have a mild winter, it’s still safe to say that we are all looking forward to spring and warmer weather returning to College Park.
Before we know it, layers upon layers of clothes, harsh freezing cold winds, and trying to minimize time outside will be a thing of the past. It will be time, once again, to wade in the fountain, lay out on McKeldin Mall, and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds that the season has to offer.
Spring is a time for new beginnings, and what better way to celebrate than with some music? Here are the top 20 songs University of Maryland students should be listening to (in no particular order) this spring:
- “Castle on the Hill”- Ed Sheeran
- “Location”- Khalid
- “Love Drought”- Beyonce
- “Caroline”- Amine
- “The Sound”- The 1975
- “Ride”- twenty one pilots

- “Kill the Lights [Audien Remix]”- Alex Newell, Jess Glynne and DJ Cassidy with Nile Rodgers
- “Groundhog Day”- Wale
- “Too Good”- Drake feat. Rihanna
