People believe that there are specific seasons when a person should or should not wear a dress.
Warm weather is definitely dress weather. In the cold, people tend to bundle up in skinny jeans, big sweaters and boots, forgetting that dresses are even an option. The idea that dresses are only acceptable in spring and summer is false.
You can wear dresses in the winter by simply layering. To create the perfect winter dress look, all you need to do is follow a few simple steps and you’re ready to go.
First, invest in a pair–or multiple pairs–of sheer black tights. These will go with everything. Then find the long- or short-sleeve dresses you want to wear.
Put it all together with your favorite sweater, favorite pair of boots and winter coat. Scarfs are also a perfect practical accessory for cold days. In the winter, a long sleeve dress and high knee boots can be the solution to any bad day.
If you look good, you feel good. Why keep your dresses hidden in the closet for most of the year? Pack on the layers, starting with your favorite dress, and you’ll be ready for any storm that comes your way!
