halsey_la_31. Closer (feat. Halsey) – The Chainsmokers
Starting off this playlist is a song that’s already claimed its spot as the party song of the semester. Sept. 3, 2016 the single peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 (a first for both The Chainsmokers and Halsey) and has been dominating college parties ever since.

2. Let Me Love You (feat. Justin Bieber) – DJ Snake
DJ Snake’s debut album “Endless” is filled with songs that are sure to be huge this semester, including “Middle” (feat. Bipolar Sunshine) and “Talk” (feat. George Maple),but the Bieber feature on “Let Me Love You” guarantees this song will be a major hit.

3. Don’t Need No Money (feat. Sigala & Blonde) – Imani Williams
This song might not have the same chart success as the others on the list, but it certainly holds its own among the group. The catchy melody and dance beats will have students singing and dancing the minute it comes on.

4. Hymn for the Weekend (Seeb Remix) – Coldplay
A remix that will turn the alternative second single off of Coldplay’s latest album, “A Head Full of Dreams,” into the perfect dance song for your next day drink.

5. Final Song – MØ
The latest single from Danish “Lean On” singer combines elements of indie pop,
alternative and dance into a truly infectious track.

6. In Common (Radio Mix) – Alicia Keys x Kaskade
The dancehall sound of this single off of Keys’ upcoming album is a departure from her typical R&B sound, and makes her a fresh addition to party playlists.

7. This Is What You Came For (feat. Rihanna) – Calvin Harris
This song dominated the charts this summer, and will most certainly see lots of
playing time into the fall. It’s the perfect song choice for those who want to forget about school and relive warm days.

8. Cold Water (feat. Justin Bieber & MØ) – Major Lazer
It’s no surprise that the lead single from Major Lazer’s third album peaked at number two on the Bill board Hot 100. It’s success likely comes because it features two artists who have already appeared on the list and have seen chart success.

9. Bring Back the Summer (feat. Oly) – Rain Man
This melodic record comes from EDM producer Kris Trindl (who previously
belonged to Krewella) under the moniker Rain Man. You can expect to hear lots
of students belting out the words when this song comes on.

10. Invitation (feat. Yade Lauren) – Yellow Claw
Ending this list is a slightly lesser known song from duo Yellow Claw. These artists collaborated on the song “Ocho Cinco,” in DJ Snake’s album “Encore,” but “Invitation” strays from their typical trap style. The pop and dancehall influences make this record a strong contender for your party playlist.
