ABC Family’s 25 days of Christmas is a special event that signals the beginning of the holiday season—a time for family, tradition, snow covered streets and endless helpings of comfort food.
Each year, ABC Family celebrates the Christmas season with 25 days of classic and beloved holiday movies and shows. This year the event will premiere an ABC Family Original Movie, Holidaze, starring Jennie Garth and Cameron Mathison.
Some other movies set to air are Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and many more holiday favorites. On Dec. 24, The Santa Clause Movie marathon will air at 5 p.m.
“I think it’s a tradition that sets the mood for the holiday season. It plays a lot of classic movies that remind viewers of Christmas and the winter season, so it really has a holiday feel to it,” junior physiology and neurobiology major Lindsay Egbert said.
“I’m excited to see the classics like Rudolph and A Christmas Carol. They always get me really excited for Christmas,” junior engineering major Julia Rodenas said.
“I can’t wait. It’s not Christmas without it,” junior communications major Kiersten Darragh said.
Tune into ABC Family beginning on Dec. 1 to see this year’s 25 Days of Christmas special event.
